Radiesthesia

Radiesthesia is a word, that was coined in 1920 by the French abbot Alexis Bouly and it comes from the Latin word “Radius” (ray) and from the Greek word “ Aisthesis” (sensation).

The diviner is the person, who is able to sense, through a pendulum, biotensor or dowsing rod, the vibrations of impulses and the radiations emitted from things, people, animals, grounds, and so on… In ancient times the word Dowsing was used just for the search of springs of water or metals as gold.

Then the man realised that the radiations were emitted by each form of life so they are able to sense these wavelengths or natural radiations to find the presence of what he is looking for: illnesses inside a person, the medicine, therapy or the more suitable therapeutic approach for the care of an illness and for the holistic care, water, gold, disappeared things, any diagnosis on fields, cars, besides to devise active radionics forms for every vibrational use.

Different Types of Pendulums
Pendulums come in many shapes, sizes and materials. Trends in the current market indicate that pendulums crafted from gemstone material are presently the most popular.

Other materials you might find in pendulums offered for sale:

Metal - brass, chrome, silver and silver-plate, pewter
Wood - machine or hand-carved and crafted pieces.
Clay - man-made polymer clays and natural.
Glass - hand-shaped lampwork, blown, molded and more.

Everyday- type objects and found items may also be used. As mentioned in our introduction, very personal items can be used with wonderful success and accuracy. You might also use a found object such as a weighted feather. If you have the experience, desire and skills, consider hand-carving your own pendulum from a piece of wood.
